This is me at the South rim of the Grand Canyon on March 8, 2009. The reason this photo made me miss work? March 8 was a Sunday, and this picture was taken by my friend
 in the afternoon.The lounge at the El Tovar Hotel there is about 8 hours from where I live. After my visit to the lounge, there was no way I was going to be able to drive across the street, let alone drive 8 hours home! Oh well, it was a good trip, even though I got in a bit of trouble for it!  |
